Property Network of Australia is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to support the general maintenance of the centre working alongside the Operations Manager for a leading shopping centre landlord based on the Gold Coast.
The successful candidate will ensure all the day to day operations in the centre run smoothly whilst providing the necessary administration support within the Facilities Management department. This is a fantastic role for a trade qualified candidate to step up into a more 'white collar' role at a very busy shopping centre asset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide facilities support with the everyday maintenance of the asset.
- To act as 'information and mood conduit' between Tenants and Service Contractors to the Operations and Centre Manager when required.
- Investigate and report on accidents/incidents on the property and carry out remedial work to prevent similar occurrences.
- Facilities Administration including reporting, invoicing and raising PO's etc
- Ensure risk management procedures are performed continually.
- Assist the Operations Manager in the control/co-ordination of tenancy fitout procedures.
- Liaison and overseeing of all service contractors and tradesmen that are engaged to maintain the Centre i.e. air conditioning, security, lifts, fire fighting and emergency equipment, electrical systems, pest control etc.
- Trades/ maintenance/ or facilities background
- Prepared from time to time to tend to basic maintenance task
- At least 1-2 years experience in an administration/coordination role
- Good/strong computer skills
- Strong understanding of building legislation
- Can organise a scope, costings etc and undertake and initial evaluation the responses
