About the Role
SDS are seeking a proactive and motivated Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join the team on a full-time basis Mon-Fri, with some weekend work required.
This is a hands-on role requires excellent communication skills & the ability to work with the team on all levels. You will be responsible for ensuring the facilities and grounds are maintained to a high standard and will also be responsible for ensuring all plant and equipment are serviced and maintained.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the facility is cleaned, tidied and maintained
- Assisting on all training courses being conducted within SDS that requires two trainers
- Ensuring all equipment is registered within the Asset Management database and accurate records are thoroughly maintained
- Maintaining and managing the serviceability of all SDS vehicles, safety and electrical equipment
- Inspecting, testing and tagging safety and electrical equipment
- Coordinating freight movements
- Receive and dispatch
- Shipping equipment to desired locations across Australia
- Log incoming/outgoing deliveries for SDS
- Delivery and collection of items
- General handyman/maintenance duties
- Warehouse stock arrangement
- Provide general logistic and maintenance support to the wider business
Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Essential Criteria
- Current WA C class driver’s license
- National Police Clearance
- Current Forklift Licence
- Warehouse experience (desirable)
- Fit & healthy for labouring, packing, unloading freight etc.
- Computer Competent
- Proficient in Microsoft - Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be self-motivated, able to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment and autonomously
