Your new role

As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the College property, plant and equipment and maintain leadership of the Property Services team. The role will see you undertaking a raft of maintenance and administrative tasks including the oversight of contractors, to ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities. The Facilities Manager will also be required to have coordination and oversight of relevant contractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory responsibilities and ensuring that the College facilities are well presented, maintained and WHS compliant.
The Facilities Manager will develop and implement proactive maintenance programs and be responsible for prioritisation and oversight of work received.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated skills and experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Manager
• Demonstrated leadership and management capability in developing a competent team
• Administration, organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including a natural approach to liaising with staff, parents and contractors
• High attention to detail with the ability to work, be self-motivated and proactive to meet deadlines and forward plan
• Ability to obtain a WWC
• Ideally, a trade qualification in plumbing, electrical or refrigeration
