What this opportunity involves:
We are seeking a driven and energetic Property Manager to support a national Office portfolio. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of your assigned portfolio, which includes a wide range of activities including new lease negotiations, site terminations, property inspections, repairs & maintenance, third party and stakeholder management and becoming a trusted property advisor to your client.
You will be an integral member of our team and directly contributing to the success of the Whole of Australian Government JLL contract.
This role will be a pure property management role, which may eventually transition to a mixed role (including transactions, leasing activities and strategies, etc.).
This role can be based in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with hybrid working arrangements (JLL office, home and client site).
An overview of the role:
- Liaising with landlords/ tenants, being the first point of contact
- Work and liaise with the Facilities team on management of the leased estate.
- Keep track of all work orders, follow up landlord for status updates and provide regular updates to the client.
- Manage the process of each work order in the internal system
- Review and approve all rent roll reports, assist the lease admin team will any rent or account related queries, and liaise with Landlord’s on rent related matters as required.
- Manage leased facilities to ensure it is compliant with the lease
- Assist with arranging property inspections
- Manage, maintain and update reports as necessary.
- Attending internal/ external meetings

- You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our client’s requirement with the ability to successfully gain and retain baseline security clearance
- Relevant Real Estate Certification or registration (relevant to state in Australia) with a proven track record in commercial property management is essential
- Capacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectively
- Comfortable working autonomously within a highly process driven environment.
- Demonstrated effective client relationship skills – able to interact face to face or virtually with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), coupled with strong influencing skills
- Highly organised team player, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and in a remote team environment
- Some travels (not regular) will be required to sites and properties assigned to your portfolio
