The role
Reporting to the General Manager, this role is very broad in nature, operationally focused and goes well beyond a traditional administration role.
The responsibilities
Every day will be different, and your responsibilities will be varied, including:
- Administrative support – Managing Schedules, Organizing Meetings, Handling Correspondence and maintaining employee Training and office records
- Office Maintenance – ensuring the office & Workshop environment is clean, safe, and well organized – coordinating with cleaning & Maintenance services
- Human Resources – assisting with hiring processes, onboarding new employees, managing employee records, and addressing employee concerns
- Financial Tasks – handling Budgeting, quoting, bookkeeping, expense reporting, payroll & Assist General Manager with end of month invoicing
- Policy Implementation – ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and implementing new policies as needed.
- Monthly work planning & Scheduling – liaising with clients on required labor & Project dates/times, keeping calendar up to date, tracking personal leave/ Annual leave
The candidate
In order to be shortlisted for this exciting opportunity, you will:
- have recent experience as an Office Manager or Administrator.
- Excellent experience with Microsoft Excel
- be comfortable multi-tasking.
- flexible start/finish times, preferably 7:00am-3:00pm / 9:00am-5:00pm
- Manufacturing / engineering background desirable
