What this job involvesJLL is looking for a part-time Facilities Manager to work two days per week for three busy industrial buildings location on the same street in East Arm for National and Government Tenants that is part of a national portfolio.The role provides hands-on leadership of engineering services operations, with a focus spanning energy sustainability, ongoing building commissioning and operational improvements, strategic delivery of lifecycle asset planning, project management, through to the daily operation of all property services with a focus on sustainable and economic performance and constant improvement.
- Provide a high level of customer service to the building tenants, including attending tenant meetings, provision of updates in relation to tenant specific issues and regular updates on building initiatives/upgrades.
- Ensure and manage compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and enact sound engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes and services.
- Undertake periodic inspections of the building and plant and determine the extent, and priority of any repair works required.
- Ongoing management of all specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms and conditions and nominated scope of works.
- Preparation of tender and contract documentation, including obtaining tender pricing for all works and services on the property as required by the General Manager and in accordance with established client requirements.
- In collaboration with others, prepare annual property operations and capital works budgets and monitor and update budgets on a quarterly basis.
- Provide a monthly report for the Portfolio Operations Manager on any significant issues that affected the property during the previous period in accordance with designated template.

- Previous facilities management experience
- Tertiary qualifications (Property or Financial) would be an advantage however not essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and an ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels is essential
- A proven track record in gaining the trust of and delivering a high standard of service to clients
