About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Project Manager to document and oversee all construction endeavours. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality standards and align with PCYC's vision.
You will be an experienced FPM with a background in medium-level commercial renovations and minor capital works to join our team at Inala PCYC. There will be occasional travel, and while flexible working arrangements (3/2 split and flexible hours) are available, initial expectations include regular attendance at Inala for the first few months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and develop scopes of work for multiple Priority Infrastructure Programme (PIP) projects.
- Manage and deliver various aspects of onsite contractor activity, including construction, programming, budgeting, transport, quality control, and safety.
- Address and resolve project variations and conflicts.
- Maintain daily communication with the Senior Project Manager and PMO.
- Take charge of agreed-upon project works, ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to timelines.
- Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to bring PCYC requirements to fruition.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of building projects and premises, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of operational unit plans, streamline procurement processes, and manage relationships with building suppliers.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenditures, and provide regular updates and reports.
- Foster sustainable relationships internally and externally, contributing to the growth of PCYC Queensland activities.
Essential:
- Degree qualification or five years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive self-starter with effective time management abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and graphics packages.
- Eligibility for QLD Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Willingness to travel across the state and hold a valid Driver’s License.
