Your role in supporting Anglicare will include:
- Contribute to the specification, scoping and planning of upgrades to existing property and new capital works.
- Prepare project plans or participate in the development of project plans, as required.
- Manage the submission and processing of relevant development and building approvals from relevant levels of government.
- Operate and implement coordinated work programs for sites and negotiate with all relevant parties involved in project work.
- Manage procurement for projects, including the development of relevant FFE schedule in conjunction with procurement department and the procurement and delivery of plant and equipment.
- Prepare relevant tenders as appropriate, evaluate submissions, undertake negotiations with short listed tenderers, and assist with the decision making process for selecting the successful bid.
- Coordinate the Project Control Group and facilitate effective stakeholder consultation.
- Monitor the raising of purchase requisitions, review and approve progress claims and invoices within the delegated limits.
- Prepare project status, performance, financial administrative and operational reports, including project expenditure against budget.
- Use initiative to analyse, research and resolve issues they arise and promptly provide effective solutions.
What you will bring to the role
- Current National Police Check (or ability to attain if successful).
- Current Queensland Drivers licence.
- Degree in Project Management (desired)
- Current White Card in Construction Safety (desired)
- Current Building Licence or relevant Trade Qualification (desired)
- The ability to facilitate consistent, high quality, sustainable outcomes in the management of building projects as the Owner’s Representative
- Proven Project Management experience in all phases of the development, design, tendering and construction of building projects within an aged care or community service setting
- Proven success meeting key time, quality and budget performance indicators
- Excellent time management, organisational, interpersonal and communication including consultation, negotiation, influencing, conflict management and assertiveness
