Factory General Hand And Machinery Operator

We are currently seeking a Factory General Hand and machine operator to join the production team at Colorcorp Pty Ltd. Come join a fantastic vibrant team within a well-established company on a casual basis.

Colorcorp Pty Ltd is a successful medium size Digital Print and Manufacturing company situated in Northgate Queensland, providing high quality custom Wide Format Digital point of sale, advertising media and regulatory signage to the retail sector for over 40 years.

About the role

An opportunity is available for a reliable individual to join our Company assisting withthe preparation and cutting of materials, sheeting, mounting and laminating of signsand packing. The role will include safe operation of guillotines, sheeting equipmentand laminators.
This role requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is able to workautonomously and as part of a small team and have the confidence and ability tooperate machinery safely.

Duties:

• Operate guillotines, laminators and sheeting equipment to perform tasks.
• Prepare and load / unload raw materials onto the machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly.
• Check and maintain machinery to ensure functionality.
• Understand and observe operating procedures, production disciplines, and codes of conduct.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
• Available to work between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday-Friday (with the opportunity for extension dependent on business need)
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Good communication abilities
• Honest, reliable and punctual
• Response for quality control of all finished product
• A team player with a positive attitude
