About the Role
VCAT is looking for an experienced people leader to lead our Support Services operations. This is a significant opportunity to help shape the future of how provides support and guidance to Tribunal users that may have diverse and/or complex needs.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community Access Services, the Support Services Manager will lead the Support Services teams in the provision of accessible services to the Victorian community.
This is a demanding role in a unique service delivery envioronment. Support Services comprises of family/personal violence, disability liaison and Koori support.
All of these teams provide assistance to VCAT users that may have additional needs and require a more specialised level of support.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- experience in leadership and people management within a complex customer centric environment.
- an understanding of the issues faced by Tribunal users with diverse and complex needs and how to provide the support that they require.
- experience in successfully building important relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to provide authoritative advice on a range operational matters that may impact your team and /or Tribunal users.
The Support Services Manager role is designed to provide management and leadership support within our Support Services Group for a 12-month period, with the possibility of extension or an ongoing opportunity.
