As a busy household and family, we are seeking a Family Assistant to join us on a casual basis to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day lives. The role is definitely unique and will require someone who can be flexible and is not opposed to early mornings!
You will be an integral part of the household, providing first and foremost, exceptional childcare for our five year old child, ensuring their wellbeing at all times. Other aspects of the role will include grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning, and other various household tasks that allow us to balance our busy work/life schedules with more ease.
The position’s hours will vary week to week, from 10+ hours, and will work around covering after and before school hours, early mornings, occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Due to the nature of this role, specific requirements include:
- Previous childcare and household management experience
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid blue card or WWCC
- Valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
- Efficiency with cooking and meal preparation
- Flexibility
- Understanding and respect for the privacy and confidentiality of the family
