- Flexible role for a Family Law Paralegal position for final year law students.
- Hybrid opportunity to work from home, in the office, including Court attendances.
- Boutique Law Firm located in Parramatta and Southern Highlands.
You will receive ongoing experience working directly with the Principal Solicitor, in a fast-paced environment.
About you:
- Final year Law Student.
- Shows initiative to work independently, efficiently, and effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, including managing client’s high emotions and expectations.
- Has the confidence to appear at Court if required.
- Required or in the process of applying to become a Justice of the Peace.
Duties/Role
- Liaise with clients, other legal practitioners, and Counsel, by way of email and in person.
- Prepare pleadings.
- Filing, and other administrative work.
To be successful for this role you must:
- Be honest, organised, have attention to detail, open to learning new things, flexible and reliable.
- You must have a Credit average or above.
