About our client...Our client is a well-established and long standing law firm based in regional Victoria and is recognised for their sensitive and personalised approach to their clients. They are one of the largest law firms in the Victorian goldfields region and already have a well established and dedicated team of family law professionals.
The firm provides personalised advice & services across a wide range of family law matters. The firm now seeks to appoint an experienced Family Lawyer, who has expertise in complex family law disputes, including property settlements. You will be able to work independently, with all the infrastructure, resources and the support you may need.
About their role...
In this permanent, full-time role you will enjoy a real sense of satisfaction & achievement, assisting clients requiring advice on all aspects of family law. Here you will appreciate a good level of autonomy whilst enjoying the camaraderie of other professionals & support staff within this collaborative style culture.
You will be able to 'hit the ground running' and as a pivotal team member you will have the opportunity to handle a range of family law issues, in matters typically pertaining to:
- Divorce & Separation
- Binding Financial Agreements
- Property, Assets & Financial Settlements
- Intervention Orders
- Child Custody
- Solid family law experience, (5+ years PAE) within a recognised family law practice;
- Be a self-starter with an inclusive, pro-active team approach;
- Highly developed communication skills (at all levels) with strong focus on client service;
- Ability to effectively manage a busy caseload and competing priorities.
