We are currently recruiting for a Family ViolenceCase Manager position on behalf of our client, a leading organization dedicated to supporting victim survivors of Family Violence.
Role Overview:
As a Family ViolenceCase Manager, you will operate with a significant degree of autonomy, utilizing your initiative and judgement to provide high-quality case management services. The position involves working closely with clients throughout their engagement, conducting assessments, safety planning, and advocating for appropriate services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement trauma-informed, systemic, and developmental approaches in case management.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and needs assessments using the MARAM framework.
- Advocate for and link women to suitable services, collaborating with external agencies.
- Provide face-to-face support and outreach, complementing phone-based casework.
- Collaborate with families to develop and review individual case and safety plans.
- Deliver group work to support recovery from Family Violence.
- Prepare professional reports and documentation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Development, or a related discipline (degree level preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Family Violence or related sector.
- Understanding of multicultural issues and intersectional factors impacting victims.
- Knowledge of key frameworks, including intersectional feminism and anti-oppressive frameworks.
- Familiarity with the MARAM framework and changes in the Family Violence Sector post the 2016 Royal Commission.
- Proficiency in a language other than English is highly desirable.
