Nunga Mi:Minar Incorporated is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation with over 40 years of service delivery in culturally responsive specialist services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families impacted by Domestic and Family Violence. Our organisational vision is to support the social, emotional and cultural wellbeing of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Family Wellbeing – Multiple Roles:
- Aboriginal Family and Domestic Violence Practitioner
- Intensive Tenancies Worker
- Access and Community Engagement Worker
- Community Development Worker
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED
- A tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work or Social Sciences or experience commensurate to the position
- Experience and demonstrated knowledge in working with Aboriginal families experiencing domestic and family violence.
- Experience and demonstrated knowledge of family support and complex case management.
- Understanding of intergenerational trauma and the social, political and geographical issues impacting families.
- A South Australian Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- A Safe Environments for Children and Young People - Through Their Eyes Certificate
- A Current South Australian Drivers Licence
