Role Overview:
As a Farm Hand, you will take direction from the Farm Leading Hand in the day to day harvesting product for the production room. You will use initiative, problem solving and provide solutions where appropriate to ensure harvesting and production is running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiating daily set up of machines ready for Harvest.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Farm Leading hand.
- Performing repetitive movements in picking leafy green products such as spinach, Kale and Lettuce.
- General maintenance and repairs of machinery used to harvest and keep site clean.
Requirements:
- Must be Physically fit and able to perform manual labour and lift up to 15kgs.
- Experience within a Farm hand role.
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
