AddressFarm Hand - Oyster Farm - Hobart
We have up to 50 positions available for Farm Hands on Oyster Farms in and around North Hobart and surrounding regions of Tasmania.
Work is due to start from May 2024 for up to 9 months
You will be paid as a casual employee under the Aquaculture Award, MA000114 Level 1.
• Hourly rate: $28.26 per hour.
This position requires the availability for shift work over a 7-day roster.
Minimum of 30 a week 6.30am-3.30pm though at times this may change due to the seasonal needs of the business.
There may be an opportunity to undertake training and upskilling in this role, which can allow your remuneration to increase as per the levels in the Aquaculture Award, MA000114 Level 1.
This role involves grading, harvesting oysters, making of baskets and general maintenance
• Random drug & alcohol testing may be conducted

• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to work continuously at a high level of concentration
• Must be physically fit, agile & able to stand for long periods
• Able to cope with inclement weather
