Having undergone a significate and sustainable expansion of its business in New South Wales, an opportunity for a highly motivated individuals to join its newly expanded brushed potato growing and packing operation.
We are currently recruiting for experienced Irrigation Specialist, who is highly motivated, enthusiastic individual. You will report directly to the Farm Manager and be responsible for the irrigation, movement, ensuring service and repair, and troubleshooting of centre pivot and other irrigation systems. You will control all irrigation equipment and measure soil moisture to ensure it is fully functioning resulting in optimum levels.
To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes:
- Experience with irrigation systems, soil moisture monitoring.
- Centre Pivot irrigation knowledge.(centre pivot or other largescale irrigation systems preferred)
- Ability to implement irrigation programs.
- Diagnose and fault find causes for equipment failure and breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Perform regular testing, servicing, repairs, and replacement in accordance with scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Ability to update watering, fertigation recorded daily in appropriate date base including PAM and MEX.
- Sound computer skills.
- Be well organised, with outstanding time management skills.
This is a full-time position with a salary Package Minimum package $70,000-$90,000
