As a Store Manager working with this retailer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations while driving your teams success through KPI's and meeting sales targets. Every day is different but the goal will always be to create a positive shopping experience for customers while maximizing sales and maintaining high standards of customer service. Your keen eye for visual merchandising joined with your skills in training and development will help the store to attract customers and reach its absolute potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead and motivate your team, including hiring, training, scheduling, progression planning and performance management.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop strategies to drive sales and exceed revenue targets. Monitor sales performance and KPI's to ensure the store is reaching its potential.
Customer Service Excellence: Uphold a culture of exceptional customer service by setting high standards, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring all team members prioritise customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, including receiving and maintaining proper stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory discrepancies.
Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store layout and displays are visually appealing, effectively showcasing merchandise, and adhering to brand standards.
Operational Efficiency: Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, security, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, KPI's and delivering results.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Full working rights within Australia.
