Thrive Group Tasmania is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a volunteer Board. We have been providing education and care for children from birth to 13 years for over 40 years. We offer families a wide range of care options throughout Tasmania, including Family Day Care, Early Learning and Care and Outside School Hours Care.

Imagine working with us
The Family Day Care Manager(FDCM) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Family Day Care Unit. The FDCM is responsible for the leadership and direction of the entire Family Day Care Team. The FDCM is responsible for leading the development of the curriculum at the service. FDCM will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is being met at all times. The FDCM will oversee compliance in relation to all FDC premises and environments. To do this effectively they should encourage Field Compliance Officers and Educators to collaborate and ensure the establishment of clear goals for teaching and learning. They will create a culture where educators reflect, affirm and challenge each other and themselves to deliver high-quality Educational programs and safe and engaging physical environments.
About you
Successful candidates will have:
- A Diploma in Education and Care or be working towards one.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQF
- A current Working With Vulnerable People Registration
- A current First Aid Certificate OR can obtain one.
