AddressHuon is on the hunt for a Feed Trials Assistant to join the crew at Hideaway Bay – perfect for an enthusiastic worker with a willingness to learn!
The role
Supporting the Feed Trials Manager and ensuring the upkeep, maintenance, and cleaning of the trial pens, your responsibilities include:
- Monitoring daily feeds, ensuring fish are fed in line with the project plan.
- Reporting trial fish performance data, including feed rates, mortalities, fish weight and bath reports.
- Monitoring and reporting unusual signs of fish behaviour, water quality, or other factors that could impact the trial.
- Investigating variances to expected growth/feed patterns.
- Assisting with other specialist project work as directed by the Feed Trials Manager.
This opportunity is a full-time position, operating on a 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off roster.
