ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role services Medical facilities across the state.
This position will suit a Technical minded person that has a good mechanical and electrical aptitude with an eye for detail.
The primary role is the Installation, maintenance and service of industrial grade infection control equipment including Autoclave sterilizers, Washer disinfectors & Ultrasonic cleaners throughout the Canning Vale region.
The successful applicant will come from a service plant maintenance background and possess good technical skills. Field service technicians working on industrial equipment and electrical or mechanical fitters encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
- Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.
- Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
- Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities. Able to work productively in a pressurized environment.
ABOUT YOU:
- Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics trade or Mechanical trades with a Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with Hospital CSSD equipment - Instrument washers, sterilisers, and endoscope reprocessing.
- Electronics / mechanical equipment servicing
- Current WA drivers Licence
- Be able to attain a police check & attain a working with children's check
- Obtain relevant vaccinations (as required)
- Industrial, Control and Instrumentation equipment experience
- Autoclave exposure, validation experience, Steam, Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge
