The Opportunity – SIG Combibloc AU
As an Area Service Technician you will be servicing Client sites in a fully maintained company vehicle. You will carry out day to day maintenance, inspections and servicing of company filler equipment and associated systems.
We are after experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Electronic Engineers and Mechanical and Electrical Technicians to perform the role of Area Service Technician at our client sites across Brisbane and Queensland

Tasks & Responsibilities
Proprietary equipment installations, inspections, maintenance, service and repairs
Trouble shooting, cause analysis and optimisation of equipment
Perform breakdown maintenance of systems
Provide technical client support including inspection of plant and equipment, troubleshooting and equipment optimisation
System assembly, installations and commissioning
Participate in installation of relevant rebuilding and upgrading kits
Perform preventative maintenance activities
Achieve superior performance from all systems and equipment focusing on reliability and continuous improvement
Testing, modifying and calibrating equipment as needed
The Candidate
You are to be highly flexible, hands on and results driven. You will ideally possess the following key skills and attributes:
Bachelors Degree qualification in Electronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
Minimum five years relevant experience supporting, servicing, maintaining or manufacturing automated industrial equipment.
Willingness to travel as required
Highly organised with solid time management and communication skills
High degree of initiative and excellent problem solver
Experience with Siemens PLC and HMI and Scada systems preferred
Experience with AC and DC drives
Ability to provide detailed technical feedback and reporting
Ability to read technical schematics
Experience with a variety of engineering fields preferred including mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and electronic system and equipment
Good knowledge of industrial safety systems
