Our client, a leading provider of smart metering solutions for water, gas, and electricity utilities, Are currently looking for a field support officer to join their team. The company is a small team with an excellent culture with ongoing training for the right candidate. The role is based in Research the North Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne with citywide travel and possibility of some interstate travel.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct on-site visits to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain smart metering systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Provide training and guidance to utility personnel on the use and maintenance of smart metering equipment.
- Collect and analyse data from meters to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns promptly.
- Document all field activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair work.
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
- Proven experience in technical support or Field Service roles.
- Strong Computer scales
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Hours and Rates
Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 3.30pm but these times are flexible.
Up to $70k + super based + $15,000 car allowance
