About the Role

Due to rapid business growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our National Service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients. The Service Technician will be required to travel to sites to diagnose and repair LED screens and control equipment as directed from the National Service Centre. A qualified electronics technician with knowledge and experience with LED installations or repairs will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing innovative problem solving and technical expertise
• Attending service calls throughout Queensland
• Rectify LED faults, perform onsite repairs and meet service level agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
• LED module repairs with fine pitch soldering
• Training, mentoring and supervising an electronics apprentice.
• Pre-installation coordination of materials
• Building permanent LED screens
• Repairing and setting up control equipment
• Installation and commissioning of permanent LED projects
• Frequent travel throughout Victoria with the ability to travel interstate when required (with notice)

- Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.

- Successful candidate must hold an electronics trade certificate or equivalent to qualify for restricted electrical training.

- The position can be based out of the Keilor East or Pakenham office, depending on successful candidates' location.

About You

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in electronics or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

You must have or be willing to obtain:

• Restricted Electrical License
• Working at Heights
• White Card
• First Aid Training

Desired, but not essential:

• EWP at a minimum of 11m (over 11m preferable)
• Working with Children check
• Police check
• Forklift License
