Field Service Technician

Your new company is a leader in manufacturing reliable and quality forklifts and are sold all over the world. Your new site supplies clients with rental forklifts throughout the Ipswich and Brisbane region and continually provides maintenance, repairs, and services. With multiple sites across Australia, this business is continuing to grow and require a Field Service Technician to join their team.

Your new role

You'll be operating a company-owned vehicle to travel within the Brisbane and Ipswich regions to attend appointments and call-outs for clientele. You will be attending multiple sites per day and will be responsible for self-managing your time, equipment, and spare parts to provide quality customer service to all clients. Tasks will include servicing, invoicing, data entry, maintenance, and repairs. You will maintain communication with colleagues such as workshop Service Technicians and the spare parts team to maintain workflow and productivity.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or similar with a mechanical focus. Experience servicing or repairing forklifts is preferred. You will also require:

• Open C Class Driving Licence
• Strong time-management skills
• High attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service
• Health and Safety orientated
