The Role
A great opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Technician to join our highly successful Service Team. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will have proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
The focus of this role is to carry out the maintenance, repairs and testing of healthcare equipment including but not limited to beds, mattresses, patient lifters, slings, commodes, wheelchairs and motorised scooters.
The role may also require overnight travel/work.
What you will do
- Service completed with the highest level of skill and customer service
- Analyse customer equipment to determine service requirements.
- Plan work necessary to rectify the problem or comply with service requirements
- Undertake technical work
- Conduct final testing to ensure appropriate standards are met
- Ensure all documentation is completed to required standards
- Responsible to attend customer site in agreed time
- Work across diverse environments including (but not limited to) Factory workshop, Aged Care facilities and hospitals.
What you will bring
- Mechanical, electrical or technical repair experience required
- Preferred 2 years field experience preferably within the Healthcare or service-related sector
- The ability to understand the customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
- A strong desire to achieve a high level of professional customer service
- The ability to read and work with company service manuals and guides.
- High standard of communication skills
- The ability to work independently
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
- Current Driver’s License
