About the Role
Our WA Branch is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Field Service/Installation Technician to provide service, installation, and support on the Kyocera range of hardware and associated software applications.
Main Responsibilities:
Carrying out corrective service and preventative maintenance on Kyocera’s range of photocopier and printer equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
- Manage a dedicated geographical territory of customers, ensuring all Kyocera equipment in the field is expertly serviced and maintained.
- Carrying out the installation of Kyocera equipment at client’s premises in accordance with set procedure and standards
- Promoting a professional customer service image using competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and respectful communication with all customers.
- Conduct client training on Kyocera equipment.
- Maintaining accurate service data through the diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data.
- Managing spare parts and consumable stock effectively.
- Escalating ongoing technical problems to the branch Product Specialist.
- Completing the call closure process within the service system for all the assigned service calls in a timely manner.
- Closing off service jobs within the service system for all the assigned service calls in a timely manner.
- Responding efficiently and courteously to internal and external customers
- Ensure to take reasonable care of your own health and safety in accordance with Kyocera’s Work, Health, and Safety Management System.
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with Kyocera’s QMS (Quality Management System), ISMS (Information Security Management System) and EMS (Environmental Management System).
The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes:
- Significant hands-on experience repairing printer/copier machines.
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to be able to meet deadlines.
- The ability to quickly adapt to and learn new skills needed to fulfil the requirements in the role.
- A good understanding of mono and colour digital printing products.
- Strong network, software diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Good working knowledge of networks, PCs, software, and operating systems, within a print/scan environment.
- Clear verbal communication skills & exceptional customer service ethic.
- A professional image with personal attributes of honesty, reliability, and enthusiasm.
- Hold a current full WA driver’s license.
