Field Services Technical Support Officer
Location - Northern NSW Region (Grafton, Casino, Lismore, Ballina, Byron Bay, Tweed)
Employment type - Temporary Full Time
Salary - $87,493 - $96,540 plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 5/6)

Your role
Information and Digital Services (IDS) provides secure and modern IT services to support and enable DCJ's staff. Evolving the safety and suitability of our technology solutions to meet client needs, through flexible, agile, and responsive innovation
What you'll do
This role provides broad-ranging field services-based ICT End User Computing support to users utilising a range of media (including the infrastructure environment and software) to troubleshoot and resolve issues and service requests of moderate complexity across the organisation's ICT environment.

The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate:
The ability to maintain and support ongoing operations throughout DCJ by undertaking a range of ICT support tasks, including investigating problems, assisting with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures, conducting tests, correcting malfunctions and documenting results in accordance with agreed procedures.
Experience using appropriate tools and methods to address user support queries and return user's ICT systems and networks to optimum efficiency.
Skills in managing set-up activities for ICT devices and systems and monitor their performance to limit or prevent loss of service to end users.
The ability to create and maintain support documentation to assist others in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
This role may require participation in an on-call and/or after hours work roster to ensure service continuity to clients or maintenance activities outside normal business hours. A valid driver's license is required to travel to and from the DCJ offices and on-site client support.
It is an essential requirement of the role that successful applicants are fully vaccinated and able to provide acceptable proof of vaccination status.
