Technical Support Officer - (Multimedia)
Location - Parramatta CBD with access to hybrid work arrangements
Employment type - Ongoing - Full Time
Clerk Grade 5/6, Salary - ($93,295 - $102,941), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
As a Technical Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing broad-ranging support to users utilising a range of media (including the infrastructure environment and software). Your role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues and service requests of moderate complexity across the organisation's ICT environment.

What you'll do
Information and Digital Services, within the Corporate Services division, provides secure and modern IT services to support and enable DCJ staff to achieve positive outcomes for stronger communities.
The Multimedia team provides Technical Support for Audio-Visual Link (AVL) systems across the DCJ cluster. Working in a team of 8 support technicians your primary support focus will be in the real time and dynamic areas of Courts and Tribunals, Corrective Services and Corporate Services.
The Technical Support Officer will:
• Provide support for end users in the use of AVL systems
• Support AVL systems including Cisco and MS Teams based solutions
• Assist with live video production
• Facilitate the repair of AVL hardware either directly or by collaboration with external third-party vendors
• Maintain accurate asset tracking of hardware deployed and removed from site
• Attend team meetings and provide updates, including identification of risks and issues.
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to be an extremely customer focussed individual with a positive can-do attitude and be able to plan and prioritise tasks in what is sometimes a high-pressure environment. You must have an NSW driver's license and a sound knowledge of the following: -
• Enterprise audio-visual equipment including Extron/Crestron/Cisco products
• Networking, switches, and video conferencing codecs
• Understanding of DSP's (Digital Signal Processors/digital audio mixers)
• Audio-visual topologies
• Incident management process
