Your new role
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality? We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Supervisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, your leadership is at the heart of our operations, you will lead and support a highly skilled technical workgroup accountable for commissioning, operating & maintaining primary & secondary equipment/systems in distribution, zone & sub-transmission substations located in Ausgrids Northern area (Upper Hunter, Newcastle & Central Coast) with a specific focus on our secondary systems.
- Attend to and resolve or coordinate the resolution of network issues
- Undertake relevant audits and inspections, and check and/or complete compliance-based documentation
- Validate & dispatch planning packages of work tasks to internal and crews to undertake
- Validating defects in field and providing recommended rectifications
- Monitoring site safety of internal and contract crews
- Updating and/or providing accurate data to update ERP systems such as SAP, GIS etc

You are highly adaptable, agile, and work well within a collaborative environment. We need someone who can plan and prioritise their workloads to meet tight deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of trade based practices preferably in the electricity distribution industry
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Electrical Safety Rules accreditation
- Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and procedures such as safe working practices, network standards and codes of practice
