About the Role
Service Stream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Field Supervisor to join our Wireline team. Reporting directly to the Field Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of field staff and sub-contractors under your control. Based in Ferntree Gully, VIC, and offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, this position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

About the Role
- Lead, direct and supervise a team of subcontractors in the efficient maintenance and / or construction of Telecommunication infrastructure (copper and fibre).
- Maintain and promote Service Stream high level of HSE requirements. Good understand of HSE principles and how they are implemented, to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provide motivation and leadership to a team of contractors, within a safe and compliant working environment.
- Formulating comprehensive quotations and tenders
- Undertake all necessary scheduling of work, staff and equipment to ensure that daily, weekly and monthly production targets are achieved
- Ensure current work practices are implemented in the field and recommend changes to ensure that any activity is performed in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
- Co-ordinate and assist in the training of all staff & sub-contractors
- Liaise with the client and its customers to appropriately manage the client's network & plant
- Liaise with and make all necessary arrangements with Public Authorities regarding provision of services to the network and working in public areas
About You
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Construction / Telecommunications industries or similar
- Good working knowledge of Wideband services and their operation
- Relevant technical qualifications and appropriate industry accreditations
- Current drivers license to enable site visits
- Possess an expert technical knowledge of the relevant aspects of the various networks and the work practices required by the client
- Current General Industry OH&S Induction card
- Must have Recoverable Works & Wideband experience
