The Company / The Role
Mobile Test 'n' Cal is a division of the Trescal Australia Pty Ltd, the largest 3rd party calibration organisation in the world.
Reporting to the CNQ Field Team Leader, this mobile role will see you servicing clients across Central & North Queensland, providing an array of services to our varied and valued client base.
This role implies remote work in regional areas and long distance travels.
The Role
The responsibilities of this role include performing a wide variety of calibration and repair services including:
Testing of insulated safety equipment
Instrument calibration - electrical, pressure, torque, temperature
Inspection of height safety and lifting equipment
Traveling to job sites, setting up working area and performing tasks as required
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and Repair: Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults.
Maintenance and Adjustment: Adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring, ensuring machines, equipment, and instruments are properly maintained.
Reassembly and Testing: Reassemble equipment, perform test operations, and make necessary adjustments.
User Guidance: Advise users on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
System Commissioning and Maintenance: Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles to commission and maintain control systems.
The applicant:
Ideally Minimum 1 year calibration experience relating to dimensional, pressure and torque, equipment advantageous.
Able to travel intrastate for training if required.
MS Office proficient.
Professional presentation and approach to the job, colleagues and clients.
Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work autonomously on a day to day basis and manage time effectively.

MTC Safety Induction (Internal)
Training Modules as required (Internal)
Construction Safety White Card (External - AUS)
First Aid + CPR (External - NZ, as required - AUS)
LV Rescue Training (External, as required)
Coal Board Medical (External, as required)
Generic Coal Induction (External, as required)
Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
Excellent Spoken and Written English
Computer Skills

Salary from $70,000 to $75,000 + superannuation per annum
