Have a relevant trade or a background in landscaping, water/aquaculture, environmental science, pump technician etc? Keen for a hands-on role in the field with lots of variety but without backbreaking work? We want to hear from you!
About us
Water Quality Solutions has been around for just over a decade. We've grown to become the number one place Aussies go when looking to improve the water in their dam, lake or lagoon. Alongside expert advice, we provide aeration and probiotic treatments mostly—100% natural ways to reduce algae, weeds, sludge, odour and dead wildlife in dams. We stock other products too, see lovemydam.com.au and lovemypond.com.au. As well as providing equipment and advice, we offer installation to Victorian customers (that’s where you come in!). We’ve helped tens of thousands of Aussies improve their water the natural way, without chemicals.
About the role
We have an opportunity for a Field/Maintenance Technician to travel out to customers dams/ponds/lakes to install, service and maintain equipment. This will typically be aerators, both surface aerators and sub-surface aerators. There will also be manual work removing aquatic weeds and algae and spraying needed. There's lots of variety and opportunity to learn. While this is a physical job, the work is fairly easy on the body.
The role is based on a planned monthly schedule so there's opportunity to work full time or only on days rostered with maintenance/installation works.
You’ll be required to coordinate with other staff and clients and be a role model for younger in-field staff members to deliver outstanding work to specification, and on time.
