THE JOB DESCRIPTION:
As our senior member, you will be responsible for leading our team in all Service and Maintenance across Melbourne and Victoria.
This will be very much a dual-role when you begin; spending a percentage of your time on site, liaising with customers and staff, and a percentage of time in the office. This position includes tasks such as quoting, purchasing parts and materials, scheduling workflow, service report writing, to being onsite to gain a thorough understanding of our clients sites and their requirements.
OFFICE TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
- Managing scheduling of field staff and jobs.
- Placing equipment and unitary orders with suppliers.
- Preparing quotes for clients to suit our agreed contractual agreements.
- Writing service reports and PMA (Preventative Maintenance Agreements).
- Liaising professionally with clients and customers.
- Keeping field staff accountable to keeping their project details up to date.
- Warehouse inventory and stock management.
- Managing job delivery to schedule.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will be a specialist Refrigeration Technician with 7+ years under your belt as a fully qualified tradesperson. You will have a strong and proven history in the service and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems, and the repair of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the Commercial and Domestic markets.
You will have a strong understanding of OH&S rules and regulations as well as essential service obligations.
