Job Description:
- We are currently doing a recruitment drive across our entire business for security officers, ESOs, MESO's and SEOs to join our Marlu team in the mining sector.
- Varying Rosters 7/7, ADHOC, FIFO as well as Perth based positions
- Deployment commencing April 2024
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation
- Provide full emergency response and first aid in the event of an emergency
- Report any security, safety breaches or incidents to management and relevant authorities
- Maintain accurate records of all medical-related activities
- Assist with investigations, providing detailed reports as required
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Mandatory Requirements Per Job Role
Security Positions
- Valid CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations, or higher
- HLTAID003 Provide first aid
- NPC current within the last 12 months and NPC meets the requirements to administer and manage medications as per WA Health current requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid, current open (Manual) WA Drivers License including as a minimum a HR license.
- Meet required competencies for Drug and Alcohol testing requirements, such as HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven ability to fill out incident reports in high detail, following the procedural requirements of those written obligations.
- To be able to pass a LAB DAS (Drug and Alcohol) and full medical & functional assessment; that states you are within a safe health standard for the requirements of both the client and Marlu Group.
- Must reside in WA
- Must be available for interviews/medical assessments in Osborne Park between 8am-4pm, Monday- Friday
- Must have a Telstra capable phone
Medical and Emergency Response Positions
- Cert III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue - including Confined Spaces and Vertical Rescue
- Cert IV Healthcare, Diploma or Bachelors in Paramedicine or Registered Nurse
- NPC current within the last 12 months and NPC meets the requirements to administer and manage medications as per WA Health current requirements
- Evidence of current AHPRA Registration as either a Paramedic or Registered Nurse, with no conditions or restrictions for our medical job roles
- Proven minimum 12 months experience as an emergency services officer in the mining sector, both as a team and as a sole emergency responder
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid, current open (Manual) WA Drivers License including as a minimum a HR license.
- First Aid certification
- Meet required competencies for Drug and Alcohol testing requirements, such as HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing qualification (or equivalent).
- Provide a Medical Reference of less than 12 months
- Proven ability to fill out incident reports in high detail, following the procedural requirements of those written obligations.
- To be able to pass a LAB DAS (Drug and Alcohol) and full medical & functional assessment; that states you are within a safe health standard for the requirements of both the client and Marlu Group.
- Must reside in WA

Additional desired qualifications
- CPPSEC3002A Manage conflict through negotiation.
- CPPSEC3013A Control persons using empty handed techniques.
