About the Role

Civeo Australia are looking for experienced Village Managers and Assistant Village Managers to join the leadership team at some of our small to medium sites in Western Australia. This is a hands-on village management role and we are looking for candidates who aren't scared to jump in where necessary to support their teams onsite.

About You

As an experienced FIFO Village Manager {VM} or Assistant VM, you know how to prioritise effectively and can handle multiple competing requirements, your management skills are highly developed from years of industry experience. You will be an excellent communicator who can speak with ease to a diverse group of clients, visitors and guests.

You will have experience in managing your own profit and loss and are familiar with navigating the scope of a service contract. In addition, you're a safety champion with an in-depth understanding of remote site safety standards, especially HACCP.

You can delegate effectively, lead by example and drive performance to achieve outcomes for our clients.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Village Management experience at all levels - sites between 200-800 guests
  • Outstanding leader with the ability to build a strong, stable team
  • Strong understanding of Profit and Loss, budgeting, costs controls and rostering
  • Minimum 1-2 years of FIFO experience as a Village Manager or AVM or be a highly experienced Department Team Leader from a Large 1000+ room site looking for a step up into an AVM role
  • Must possess a valid manual driver's license;
  • Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate;
  • Ability to obtain a WA Approved Manager's license;
  • Currently have or immediately apply to obtain a clear National Police Clearance within the last 6 months
  • Able to pass a medical and drug screen
  • Knowledge of rostering & time and attendance is essential
  • Able to train and develop your own team onsite

Skills:

  • Strong computer skills and able to pick up new systems quickly
  • Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office;
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills;
  • Comfortable with data and regular reporting;
  • Excellent attention to detail across reporting and service delivery;
  • Highly developed leadership skills and the ability to develop a high performing team with a culture focused on proactive customer service; and
  • Passionate about safety and providing an enjoyable working environment for all employees.
  • Any experience with Oracle/JDE technology will be highly regarded - Purchase Orders and reconciliation

  • Issued uniforms and contract
  • System and company training
  • Fly to site on start date
