AddressCSL Behring is recruiting for a Filling Team Leader – Facility A ( Base 2) to join our dynamic team at our Broadmeadows site. This exciting role is a permanent full time role and your main focus is to provide manufacturing leadership and subject matter expertise for the Filling process during the BACE 2 (Broadmeadows AlbuRx Capacity Expansion) Project phase and then transition to commercial manufacture. You will also support the coordinator in directing daily manufacturing activities and meeting the requirements of the Filling Manufacturing schedule in a safe, GMP compliant and cost efficient manner.
Please Note: This is morning shift (9am-5pm ) role during the project phase.
The Role
Reporting to the Filling Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Project:
- Collaborate with the Facility A Project Team to achieve key project deliverables and provide operational input and client review of the Facility A design through to regulatory approvals
- Provide operational knowledge and support during commissioning and qualification of new equipment and software for the Facility A Project
- Ensure the Facility A Filling process for the engineering and validation batches is delivered as per the Technology Transfer Plan to support registration of Facility A at Broadmeadows in accordance with the project schedule and the global Facility A production schedule
- Integrate and align the new Facility A with the existing CSL Behring BMW site strategies, resources and procedures
Operations:
- Assist in coordinating the team activity and resource level so the weekly Facility A Filling schedule of activities are met in a cost efficient and consistent manner. Ensure that agreed and scheduled time points are met consistently and highlight to all stakeholders as early as possible there is any risk of the schedule not being met
- Support the implementation and training of the team in following a range of standard operating procedures for completing a range of daily and weekly tasks
- Support the team in the timely completion of assigned team activities required to deliver business KPI results in the areas of safety, quality and compliance and efficiency. These activities will be assigned by the Coordinator. Assist with developing and implementing corrective actions where needed to correct adverse trends in performance
- Coordinate with the Facility A Filling Coordinator and other Team Leaders in ordering and delivery of BOM (Bill of Materials)components to support the manufacturing schedule
To be successful
- A tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience
- 3+ years' experience in Filling operations within a pharmaceutical production environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented processes
- A team player with proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent communications skills
