About This Role:
The Finance Administration Officer is an integral role supporting the finance function at Applied Medical by effectively and efficiently assisting the Financial Accountant and Finance Director with the preparation and delivery of financial tasks.
We are seeking a self-motivated candidate to take ownership of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable function, as well as some general finance tasks to add some variety to the role. You will need to be detail oriented and a highly organized person who can meet deadlines while navigating changing priorities.
Skills and Experience:
- Solid understanding of basic Bookkeeping and Accounts Receivable and Payable principles
- Work experience either in a dedicated finance position or an administration role
- Intermediate computer skills, including Excel and Word
- SAP experience (preferred)/ quick to learn new systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Accounts Receivable processing including debt collection, debtor management, resolving queries and receipting.
- Accounts Payable Management utilizing SAP Vendor Invoice Management. This includes processing invoices, coding, vendor creation and payment.
- Concur Expense management and reporting.
- Assisting in maintaining appropriate systems, procedures and controls
- Assisting with end of month and end of year processes
- Assisting with processing Journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with year-end audit, budgeting and quarterly forecasts
- Assisting with various projects and business improvement initiatives
- Ad hoc administration and finance support as required by Finance Director
