About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Administration Officer to join our finance team and assist with the accounting and administration functions for the resort. Day to day, you will work closely with other departments & outlets, ie. front office, golf & outlets – restaurants, café & bars, to provide finance support.

The Administration Officer reports to the Finance Admin Manager and your key responsibilities for the role include:
- Balancing, recording, and banking the daily takings for each outlet
- Identify, rectify, or escalate any errors or omissions identified in accounts
- Adhere to accounting procedures associated with issuing cash or payments
- Adhere to accounting procedures to ensure the security of monies held on premises, including controlling access to the safe
- Adhere to daily cash management procedures including system reconciliations, float audits and change requisitions
- Assist with processing invoices and bank deposits when required
What you’ll need to be successful
- Previous demonstrated experience in an accounts or bookkeeping position, essential
- Comprehensive understanding of financial information including accounts receivable & payable
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or business, desirable
- Intermediate Computer skills including keystroke efficiency & MS Office applications – excel, word & outlook
- SAP & Opera experience, desirable
- Strong analytical, numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to resolve problems
- Excellent personal presentation
