WellPro is a privately owned Australian company servicing the energy, resource and mining sectors. Due to a restructure, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administration Officer to join our team in Roma. This a key position supporting the Managing Director, Accounts Manager and other members of the management team to ensure the seamless operation of our business.
Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with accounts payable and receivable and providing essential support in office administration including data entry for the fortnightly payroll.
This role presents an ideal opportunity for a person who is well organised, detail oriented and adept at managing multiple tasks within a dynamic environment.
Tasks & responsibilities- Entering invoices into MYOB for non-PO purchases
- Filing/archiving of all paperwork (Pre Starts/ Journey Management/ Toolbox meetings etc.)
- Booking of flights, accommodation & training as required
- Management of registration renewals and certificate of inspections of vehicles, plant and equipment
- Data entry of timesheets
- Managing the “Accounts” mailbox and save documents to relevant shared folder.
- Meeting minutes/meeting bookings
- Create job numbers in MYOB
- Receiving/follow up suppliers for invoices and statements
- Statement reconciliations/management of supplier paperwork
- Greeting and assisting visitors & when required completing visitor inductions
- Handling all incoming calls
- Camp accommodation management (issuing & logging keys/arranging cleaning/purchasing consumables)
- Inductions and internal training set up
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge in administration procedures and Accounts Administration.
- Experience in MYOB online - Account Right would be an advantage
- High level of organisational skills, an ability to prioritize daily activities, identify and analyse problems through investigation, research and consultation in order to reach an effective solution.
- An ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Effective communication and confidentiality
- Experience in providing administrative services to the Managing Director, Finance, Operations, HSE and HR as required
- A high level of competence in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A valid Qld drivers' licence
