This fantastic opportunity now exists for a dynamic, hardworking individual who enjoys working in a busy and fast paced environment as a full time Finance Analyst, located in Botany.

Duties and responsibilities
- Working with Finance Management and various departments to ensure accuracy of results and provide insights to the business
- Working with various departments to identify business opportunities with key focus on cost
- Approve Purchase Orders
- Manage the revenue recovery requirements for AU
- Providing adhoc analysis to assist with meeting internal goals
- Prepare and submit yearly Australian Bureau of Statistics Surveys for Business Characteristics and Economic Activity.
- Review and update company insurances;
- Review ASIC company registrations;
- Working with other teams to ensure all Balance Sheet accounts are completed correctly
- Facilitation of Self audits for the F&A team
- 3PDD & Licence Management requirements
- Facilitation and Assistance with random F&A audits to ensure CAP effectiveness
- Coordination & Ownership of Record Management in AU
- Assistance with continual process improvements in the Finance Department, including audit findings and CAP implementations
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
Experience / Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Accounting Concepts and applications
- Independent, results driven Problem Solver
- Ability to work under pressure, with strict deadlines and can multi-task
- Accounting Degree (CA or CPA preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with keen eye for details
- Intermediate Excel skills (Min: Pivot tables, formulae to assist with data analysis)
- Good communication and written skills
- Can navigate easily between simple vs complex tasks
