Enforcement Services are future focused and build and maintain systems, tools and capabilities to deliver on strategic goals and ensure regulatory teams have the resources needed to meet the challenges ahead.The RoleJoin our dynamic multi-skilled enforcement team at ASIC as an Enforcement Data Analyst!ASIC is seeking candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds to join the Enforcement Data & Analytics Team to contribute to a range of fast-paced, high-profile matters and help continue to build data analytics capability within investigations. In this pivotal role, you will:

• Conduct investigations and provide in-depth data analysis.
• Leverage advanced technology to identify key insights and present evidence to progress investigations.
• Innovate with data analytics to enhance enforcement actions, improve processes, and outcomes.
• Perform blockchain investigations for cryptocurrency tracing and offer advisory support to investigative teams.
• Enhance the data efficiency of the team and help upskill team members in technology use.
• Deliver written and oral briefings to senior team members.
• Collaborate with various ASIC teams to achieve effective enforcement outcomes.

• A degree in IT, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven ability to apply data analytics to business problems and present complex information effectively.
• Advanced Excel skills, and preferably experience in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with Databricks/Spark, PowerBI, Cloud Analytics, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning (desired).Knowledge of the cryptocurrency environment desired, ideally with experience in crypto analytics and tracing tools such as blockchain explorer, Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or similar.
• Relevant experience in financial services, regulatory environments, law enforcement, or corporate and commercial law (desired).
