CPE Construction has been established in Cobram, Victoria for over 30 years and has the capacity to take commercial and industrial projects of any size from concept to completion. CPE Construction is part of the greater CG&C Group, our multidisciplinary workforce includes Project Managers, Engineers, Welders, Plumbers, and Steel Erectors which ensures we can complete all elements of a project from within our own highly trained team.
We are planning for rapid growth and accordingly expanding our business support services for current and future needs.
About the Role
Working in the Project Management team and reporting to the General Manager, the Finance and Contract Analyst will provide quality financial analysis across multiple construction projects. You will provide valuable insights and advice, helping to improve profitability and reduce risks to the business.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high quality, accurate, and timely project financial reports;
- Supporting the Project Managers to review project expenditure and ensure accuracy of supplier invoices;
- Ensuring timely and accurate cost allocation is completed in our finance system;
- Ensuring contractual requirements such bank guarantees are actively managed;
- Establishing and maintaining a consistent document management system for new and existing project records;
- Facilitate a robust contract review processes with internal stakeholders on potential new projects;
- Manage receivables and liaising with clients regarding outstanding debts; and
- Ad-hoc duties as required by the Senior Leadership Team.
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- MYOB experience is preferred
- Computer skills with Microsoft packages
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Friendly disposition and a positive can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with clients, contractors, and employees at all levels in the organisation
