Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Process payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with payroll awards.
- Manage payroll taxes, superannuation contributions, and ensure all payroll-related obligations are met during month-end and year-end processes.
HR and Compliance:
- Oversee HR-related audits and compliance, including clock-in/clock-out systems.
- Facilitate employee onboarding, ensuring integration into the payroll system and compliance with HR policies.
Capital Expenditure:
- Track and manage capital expenditures for the group.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare month-end journal entries and review profit and loss statements.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and lodge BAS and FBT returns.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Participate in the preparation of annual financial surveys and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and accounting or related major; CPA/CA is advantageous.
- At least 3 years in a similar role, with payroll experience.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of Xero Accounting System is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
