Site Manager

Opportunity
 
Nationally recognised mid-tier builder looking for an immediate contract Site Manager for a prestigious high-end commercial fit out project in Melbourne’s CBD.

Deliver a $6M project start to finish as the No.1. With a strong pipeline of works in place, this 16-week guaranteed contract role will very likely be a long-term opportunity across several challenging sites with the city and surrounds.
  
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable

 
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the fit out project, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
