We are looking for an experienced Payroll & HR Specialistwith a background in construction payroll and the ability to manage multiple payrolls efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and awards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports.
- Calculate and process leave entitlements, terminations, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant construction Awards.
- Handle payroll queries.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Improve payroll processes and systems.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Experience with the Construction related Awards highly desired.
