Finance Business Partner - 4-6 Month Contract

The role

This is a key role within the FP&A team that is responsible for coordinating all performance-related financial reporting.  It is available on a full-time basis as a 4-6 month contract initially.  They will also consider strong part-time candidates (0.6 or 0.8 FTE).  There is genuine WFH flexibility.  You will be required to manage key relationships, both internally and externally, and across all levels. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Proactively monitor and provide insights and advice on the financial performance of the business units that you support.
• Identify opportunities to optimise profitability and cash flows.
• Assist in preparation of papers, presentations and verbal updates to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board.
• Provide the communication and advice to the business unit that you support and across the Group.
• Support the preparation of budgets and provide effective, reliable and timely financial outlooks and forecasts
•  Ad-hoc project work

The successful candidateIn order to secure this position, you will be a commercially minded accountant.  You will be adaptable and place a strong emphasis on relationship building across all levels.  The following will be favourably looked upon:

• CA/CPA qualifications
• Relevant industry experience in a commercial / Business Partnering role
• Stakeholder management experience across all levels
• ERP system experience within a complex environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 
• Outstanding communication skills
