About the role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, in this Finance Business Partner role you will deliver quality Business Partnering to our corporate functions including Technology, Diversity & People, Legal and CEO Office, working alongside key business decision makers, influencing and shaping financial plans and advising on future direction. You will also help to deliver effective financial management, control, and advisory support, assisting the business in understanding its financial performance; formulating strategies to achieve business targets; and improving its ability to forecast future performance.
In this role you will:
- Build internal and external relationships across relevant departments and business units.
- Prepare monthly reporting and analysis, as you support stakeholders to achieve targets, identifying variances, driving growth or controlling costs and preparing profit and loss.
- Budget and forecasting preparation, as you support your relevant business units, and assist in driving CAPEX and transformation plans, assist decision making, and analysis.
- Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are followed and supporting projects or the wider team as required.
- Being a visible and engaging Business Partner, you will support the development of strategies and targets.
About you
What you will bring to the role:
- Fantastic interpersonal skills with the ability to partner and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financials in a commercial way.
- Forecasting skills with a forward-thinking approach.
- Knowledge of accounting systems, procedures and policies.
- Experience providing a full set of management reports and an understanding of Fringe Benefit Tax.
- A strong understanding of the general ledger and accounting principles.
- A degree in Accounting and a qualified CPA or CA.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
