Key responsibilities
As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes and optimise resource allocation;
- Monitoring and analysing financial performance, identifying trends and highlighting areas of improvement;
- Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Conducting financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess the impact of various initiatives and strategic plans;
- Partnering with stakeholders across different departments to provide financial guidance and support on projects and initiatives;
- Evaluating and managing risks, ensuring appropriate controls and procedures are in place to safeguard the institution's financial assets; and
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, economic factors and regulatory changes to provide relevant financial advice and recommendations.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
- CPA or CA qualification;
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting within the education sector or a similar industry;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights; and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
